As part of the continuing celebration of the life and works of Angela Carter, the Royal West of England Academy of Art (RWA) will be hosting a concert at 7pm on the 22nd of January 2017. Organised by New Music in the South West, three of the region’s leading composers – Sadie Harrison, Jean-Paul Metzger & David Greenhorne – have been commissioned to write new pieces inspired by work featured in the exhibition and their pieces will be premièred alongside contemporary classics by Steve Reich, György Ligeti and others.
