On the 13th June, Angela Carter’s controversial film The Holy Family Album will be screened at the Light House in Wolverhampton as part of Artsfest 2017. Dr Marie Mulvey-Roberts of UWE, who co-curated the RWA Strange Worlds Exhibition in Bristol, will introduce the film with a talk about the historic artworks that influenced Angela Carter’s writing, as well as her recurring themes of feminism, the Gothic, fairy tales and fantasy.
