Renato’s Theatre Presents ‘Pussy’ and ‘The Ruby Choker’

For those of you who missed the raucous music-theatre production of Pussy: An Angela Carter Musical Extravaganza in Bristol back in October 2017, you will be excited to learn that it will be returning to the stage in January 2019. Not only that, but it’s being accompanied by another adaptation of a Carter short story: ‘The Bloody Chamber’ has been adapted for the stage under the title ‘The Ruby Choker’. Composer Christopher Northam and librettist A.C.H. Smith have once again handled the adaptation while John Telfer has taken over the directorial reins for this production.

Both pieces will be performed for three nights, from Saturday 26th to Monday 28th January, at 8pm at The Bristol Improv Theatre. To book tickets and find out more about performances, click here or go the Bristol Improv Theatre website and click on ‘What’s On’.
