Angela Carter’s Translational Poetics

As well as adapting and rewriting fairy tales, Angela Carter also translated Charles Perrault’s collection of fairy tales. Martine Hennard Dutheil de la Rochère’s book Reading, Translating, Rewriting: Angela Carter’s Translational Poetics is the first comprehensive study of Carter’s approach to translation. It is published by Wayne State University Press.
